During the evening presentation on August 1st at VCF West 2025, we announced we would release all the results of the Ammi award voting. Below you will find all the details for each category.
This was a 3-step process: first was the nomination form, then the community voted based on the results of the nominations, and finally, the awards presentation.
Keep in mind this was all for fun, and every entry listed is an excellent piece of software or hardware. We also saw a large number of ties. To simplify the presentation, we decided to restrict the top three to just three entries. That was the most challenging part of the whole process, having the limit on who was recognized. There were some mistakes, items in the wrong category, misspellings, etc. We apologize for those; we had a lot of work to accomplish to support the event, and some errors slipped through.
Lastly, I want to thank Lifeschool over at Lemon Amiga for his tremendous help. We produced a total of 36 individual 25-second cuts covering each of the top entries. Not only did Lifeschool create 24, he contacted and commissioned Paulie Bow to create fresh new music for the event video and the event. Expect those videos to pop up on YouTube soon.
